Loss in the DPVA Family

Long time DPVA docent Glenn ”Barney” Barnhart passed away peacefully on April 14, 2021. Barney had a life-long love of music and played tuba or baritone in a number of bands throughout his life including during his years as a high school student, his years in military service, his active role as a member of The Ohio State University band and alumni band and his membership in local community and civic bands. As a volunteer for DPVA, Barney hauled his tuba into the schools to play for the children for “Orchestra & You” for many years. He was greatly loved by the students!
