Dayton Philharmonic Volunteer Association
The Dayton Philharmonic Volunteer Association (DPVA) was created in 1952 with an ongoing mission to support the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra in the areas of education, promotion, fund raising and membership development. The current membership of the DPVA is 340 men and women, the largest volunteer organization to support the Dayton Philharmonic and the largest music education program in the United States.
Every year, DPVA raises thousands of dollars for scholarship funds and music education programs to help young musicians foster their gift and pursue their love of music. We bring music to 50,000 children a year.
