DPVA’s Fall Fundraiser, “THIS IS NOT THE TIME TO MASK YOUR SUPPORT”

Don't mask your support!

DPVA is launching its fall fundraiser to support the Dayton Philharmonic!  The goal is $30,000 and may be ambitious, but if everyone does their part, we can get there!  Watch for more information arriving by mail soon!

The DPO needs our financial support now more than ever as it streams live and recorded performances to its many patrons and listeners and rehearses for upcoming performances, including next week’s Halloween Spooktacular.  Don’t miss the virtual costume parade!  DPVA provided some pre-concert activities that families can do at home in lieu of our volunteers’ normal “hands on” activities.   The DPO is also rehearsing all three youth orchestras and enrollment is at 96% of last year’s total!  Q the Music is doing virtual instruction for now with 22 students returning from last year!

Even though concert goers are not yet permitted in the Schuster Performing Arts Center and DPVA volunteers’ in-person meetings, training and school presentations are still on hold, DPVA is excited to be part of supporting the Dayton Philharmonic and will be ready when the lights go on and the curtains go up!  Show your love for the orchestra and all of the inspiring work it does with your generous donation to this campaign!

Again, watch your mail for more information about the campaign. Donations can be made through this website or you can donate by sending your check to

As always, contributions of any amount are greatly appreciated; as a special “Thank You,” donors of $500 or more will receive a black fabric face mask customized with the Dayton Philharmonic logo.  All donors will be recognized on the DPVA website and in future DPO program books.
